Brisbane Nappy Service has been operating as a professional commercial laundry service since 1975.

Washing babies’ nappies is our business. The key to our hygienic wash process is high temperature and pre-wash flushing cycles. Due to the use of steam, the required amount of chemicals is kept to a minimum.

Our washing cycle is as follows:

  1. Nappies are first rinsed, twice in cold water
  2. 1st Wash for 10 minutes at 65 degrees Celsius
  3. 2nd Wash for 12 minutes at 80-85 degrees Celsius
  4. 3rd Wash is a bleach cycle for 8 minutes
  5. Three rinses are then performed to return nappies to a neutral P.H. Level
  6. Nappies are then dried in hot air dryers
  7. Folded and then bagged

This washing process gives a result equal if not better than any hospital. We believe that high temperatures are the best way of achieving a hygienic wash and Brisbane Nappy Service is the only Brisbane service washing in this manner.

We regularly circulate new nappies into the system and older ones are constantly taken out. Whilst hygienically laundered, stained nappies are rewashed.
